Over the last two decades I have appeared on thousands of recordings with an enormous list of artists. As a session player, few things give me as much joy as seeking to maximize the emotional impact of a piece of music by crafting moving landscapes of rhythm with sonic textures both conventional and unconventional. As a result of having an insatiable appetite for learning the disparate forms of expression from a variety of cultures, and a few decades of experience with them first hand, I’ve learned to move between and reinterpret an array of musical styles with relative ease.
