Here in rural Georgia, between the creative hubs of Atlanta and Athens, I operate an independent hybrid multitrack recording studio where I have produced and engineered music for scores of artists. Depending on what the workflow dictates, I operate in both ProTools and Logic DAWs, using Antelope and Apogee interfaces, Dangerous Music summing and monitoring, a large variety of colorful outboard preamps and processors, a substantial digital toolbox and a robust mic locker. Artists come here who desire a peaceful studio environment away from the chaos of a big city, and when I don’t have clients here with me I am usually recording remote drums and percussion tracks for them, or creating my own music.
